  The Walgreen’s at 1050 Redwood, Vallejo, Ca, has to be one of the worst pharmacies I’ve dealt with. They are inept and do not give accurate information. I have been given other patient’s medication and the wrong medication from an MD I’ve never heard of. I have been accused of picking up medication that i picked up a fully complete prescription when it was only partially filled. I actually had too go home and bring in the refill bottle before they would fix the problem. Recently, on (02/18/2018) I refilled a prescription and paid for it. The problem was it was a partial refill because they ran out and for more than 10 days it was on back-order.
  
  During the 10 days I would receive emails stating the medication was ready for pick up, however, on arrival the clerk had know idea of what I was talking about and said it is “still out of stock” and I’d receive an email when it was ready. Hmmm, starting too sound familiar. Seems like they either need to retrain their staff or get a better operating system. Finally, I had the prescription transferred to another pharmacy, however, Walgreens did not transfer my insurance info so I ended up paying 5 times the amount to complete the refill. I returned to Walgreens and talked to the pharmacy manager and he had no clue of how too give me a refund after the prescription was already paid for and let me know it wasn’t Walgreen’s problem. He refused too discuss the matter or explain how it could have been alleviated. If they simply would had transferred my insurance as requested to the other pharmacy this problem would have never happened. LOSERS, and I will never do business there again.
  
  Even the drive-thru is horrible with wait times of over 45 minutes when there is only 1-3 vehicles in front of you. My doctor warned my family years ago not too use any Walgreens in Vallejo because they were known for this type of problem. I should have listened because I had too learn my lesson the hard way. Stay away because when you have an internal problem with that company they’ll got out of their way to not resolve it and swear it’s not their fault. Shame on the management system at this store. In the future, tell the customer that a transferred prescription to another pharmacy may have a payment due. Just present your insurance card so you only have to pay the remainder of the insurance and not the entire cost of the insurance. Embarrassing.
